The most direct way to travel to Sayulita is to fly into Puerto Vallarta, MX Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport. Once you have landed and successfully made it through customs, there are taxis outside the airport waiting to give you a ride. Let your driver know where you're staying in Sayulita and enjoy the last 45 minutes of travel. A couple of things to note: - Once you collect your bags and make it through customs, there will be many vendors inside trying to sell you on car rentals, jet skis, time shares etc.....Politley ignore these vendors and proceed outside the airport. Once outside, there will be taxis ready to take you to Sayulita...let the bargaining begin! ****Don't forget your cerveza for the ride at the bar outside the airport!*** - There are also local Sayulita transportation companies that you can book in advance. ***We are currently looking into some reliable options to suggest, will update more info ASAP***

Sayulinda Hotel
This hotel is great as it is in the center of town. As you walk out, you are right in the heart of Sayulita. Unfortunately, this hotel is not on the beach, however it does have a great rooftop pool with fantastic drinks and service. The beach is about a 2 to 3 minute walk. Use this link to book your stay at the Sayulinda. Note that rooms are limited at this location. In an effort to maximize space, please try and book with another couple for any available 4 person bedrooms. Ocean Golf Carts
Sayulita is a very small walkable town. The Welcome Party and the Ceremony / Reception are on opposite sides of the main beach and still within walking distance, about 15 minutes from the furthest points. However if you like a little more wind in your hair or the ease of driving rather than walking, Sayulita is also a big Golf Cart Community! We would recommend splitting a golf cart with another couple as you may not need it as much as you would think. One thing to keep in mind is charging as well as parking. Hotel Pitaya has a parking lot and a place to charge your cart, however Hotel Sayulinda has neither. The location of the Ocean Golf Carts is just one block away from Sayulinda Hotel, so they may allow you to charge there when needed, or you can charge at other locations that family and friends have booked. Parking in the town is all on the street and not super hard to find. Sometimes you may have to park a block or two away. As for booking, we met Brenda who owns Ocean Golf Carts. She is super nice and accommodating. Go on their website and select the dates that you would like. If there is a subject line or memo line, add Vicki and John wedding so she will know to take the restrictor plates off.

Sayulita Square Taxi Cabs

If you are looking to get out of the town for the day or even a ride back to the airport, there are local taxi cabs that are located in the main square of Sayulita. These cabs are here 24 hours a day. You can find a sedan or a van here. During our stay, this was the transportation we used to get out of town for a day as well as get back to the airport. They were nice people and clean cars....expect to pay ~$55 (usd) to the airport.
