The lake house has limited resources and unlike the ceremony, is open to all of our many friends and acquaintances. RSVPing to the lake party reception separately and designating the time frame of your attendance allows for more accurate management of parking, food, and facilities.

We designated a honeymoon fund registry only. We've been together for almost 10 years and need nothing more than a vacation. Check the website for registry links and information.
Please feel free to relax and be casual in summer clothing. Bring lake attire, fishing poles, camp chairs, bug repellant and sun screen.
We struggled with this, but ultimately, this event is being held on property with direct access to a lake. While children are invited to the reception with full parental supervision, during the ceremony, our wish, for all attendees, is safety and relaxation. That means no running after the littles as they rush to the water's edge.

Yes. Our plan is to serve picnic style buffet selections (hot dogs, chips, BBQ etc.) from 12:30p to 4:00p and Asian and Mexican selections (dumplings, rice, nachos) from 4:30p to 8:30p.
Yes. For guests 21 and older, beer on tap and a small selection of wine will be available throughout the day. Please plan to drink responsibly and hydrate (it's June.) Water, soda, and mixers will be available in limited supply.
The Bride's luncheon is being held in lieu of a bachelorette party. While no one is being left out intentionally, it's kind of for the girls. You guys will be invited to Aaron's gathering separately.
Bring your camera/phone/recording device. We will not be hiring a professional photographer so are asking our many wonderful guests throughout the day to take all the pictures that can then be uploaded to a google file... and pick up after yourself.
Herein lies the beauty of our plans. Wedding attendees are encouraged to stay or leave, change, and return later in the day if that suits their schedule. Stay all day, leave and come back, or just stay for the family reception. It's up to you and we are so grateful you'll be spending any time with us.
