We're getting married!

We first met at Whiskey Cake Baybrook, both of us working as servers at the time. The moment Alex and I locked eyes, there was an undeniable spark. I remember feeling so drawn to him, and when we started talking, it was as though time slowed down. For two hours, we chatted effortlessly, as if we had known each other for years. The connection was immediate, and I knew then that something special was unfolding. What makes our relationship so unique is the beautiful contrast between our personalities. Alex is the free-spirited adventurer, always embracing the unpredictable and living in the moment. On the other hand, I tend to be the planner, grounded and organized, always thinking ahead. But together, we balance each other perfectly. Whenever one of us needs grounding or spontaneity, we’re there for each other. We fill in the gaps in ways that only two people meant to be together can. A pivotal moment came just two days after our first date, when Alex, without hesitation, asked me to be his girlfriend. It was one of those moments when I felt like someone needed to pinch me. I couldn't believe our connection but I just knew instantly that this was something real. From there, the adventure only got more exciting. One of our most memorable experiences was a vacation to Colorado. It was our first time there together, and the beauty of the mountains took my breath away—but the trip also brought unexpected challenges. While hiking, I took a fall and injured my back, but Alex was right there to take care of me. His care and compassion during that moment only deepened my feelings for him, and I realized that I could rely on him in ways I never thought possible. Looking ahead, we dream of starting a family. The thought of building a life together, filled with love, laughter, and little moments of joy, excites us both. We know that whatever challenges or triumphs lie ahead, we’ll face them together, always supporting and encouraging one another. The one thing I love most about Alex is how deeply he makes me feel loved. He sees the world in a way that I never did before, helping me to embrace the beauty of the unknown and to let go of control when it’s necessary. With him, I feel seen, cherished, and inspired every single day. Our journey together has been nothing short of amazing, and I can’t wait for all the adventures that are yet to come. This is just the beginning.
