We met working together at Best Buy. He worked in warehouse/inventory and I worked on the sales floor. We had brief run ins at work when I would stay late to assist with inventory but we never talked to one another. We worked together for almost a year before actually having a conversation - he cut himself in the warehouse and came to the front of the store asking for a bandage and I was covering the front for a break. He started to call me "Nurse Aly" and we added each other on social media, then exchanged numbers. A month went by and we continued talking to one another and hanging out together. We realized our personalities clicked and we really enjoyed one another's company. That’s pretty much when we thought, “Okay. This could be something.”

Kolton got home late from school at OSU and walked into the living room where I was sitting on the couch. He walked up saying he loved me and how he did not want to anyone else to live life with. I thought he was going to give me bad news. Since the day we first started talking, I always teased him saying "where is the but?" because he would say things that didn't sound like the sentence ended - there was more coming, the but. This made me nervous and I did not believe him when he said there was no but. He then pulled a ring out of his pocket and said "Marry me." I thought he was kidding and he repeated himself again. My eyes swelled up and of course I said "Yes!", and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in October!
