FAQs

Question

Are children able to attend the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

We are having an age 15+ wedding. We want to give parents the opportunity to celebrate with us distraction-free. In addition to that, children would be bored throughout the entire evening, and we also want to save our very limited number of seats for adults and young adults who genuinely want to celebrate with us. We have sent our 'save the date's as early as possible to make it easier to find childcare for your little ones. We also have a childcare suggestion tab at the top of the page. Thank you so much for working with us and respecting our wishes!

Question

Am I able to bring a plus one?

Answer

We are limiting the size of our wedding just to our close friends and family, so there will be no plus ones available. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures/post them on social media?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony to avoid distractions, allow our professional photographer and designated videographer to work, and allow you to be fully present on our special day. After the ceremony, pictures are more than welcome. We will have a QR code available to scan that will lead you to our 'digital photo' website, where you can use your phone as if it were a disposable camera. No app download is necessary, and it allows you to share all of your pictures with us and everyone else! Please do not post any pictures that include the bride, groom, or any of the wedding party until the bride and groom have posted themselves first.

Question

Do I need to RSVP by mail or can I do it another way?

Answer

Whatever is easiest for you is fine. We do ask that it be one of three ways: either by mail, emailed directly to the email listed below, or by visiting our website and doing it online (our preferred way). To find this on the website, go to the top of the page where the different categories are, and the 'RSVP' category should be all the way to the right. If the invitation is addressed to multiple people, only one person needs to put their name in to find the couple/family. Please make sure to RSVP by October 5th, 2024, otherwise we will assume you are not able to attend and will have to remove you from our headcount for seats and food. jacobandgracievick@gmail.com

Question

What time should I be at the ceremony? What time will both the ceremony and reception end?

Answer

While our wedding ceremony will start at 5:00 pm, we ask that guests arrive about 30-45 minutes early to find adequate parking, find their seats, account for any unexpected delays, etc. We do want to warn people that if you arrive after the ceremony has begun, you will not be able to take your seat in order to avoid disruption of the wedding party and ceremony. The ceremony will most likely end around 5:20. There will be a reception directly afterward at the same location, and we would love for you to join us! Our reception will be from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. We will also have a cocktail hour between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception, where refreshments and small appetizers will be available during that time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking those who are able to follow a semi-formal dress code. We have no request of what colors to wear, as long as it's not white ;) Here are some examples of semi-formal wedding attire... For men... - A suit jacket or blazer with matching dress pants - A long sleeve button-down shirt with dress pants - Tie or no tie (steer clear of bowties) - Loafers, Oxfords, or simple dress shoes - Steer clear of jeans or khakis For women... - Ankle to knee-length dresses or skirts - A semi-casual jumpsuit - Steer clear of extremely bright colors and heavy beading/embelishment - Heels, flats, dressy wedges, or dressy booties

Question

What will the temperature/weather be like?

Answer

While we won't know what the weather will be until shortly before the wedding, in Tennessee during early November, the historical average is 65°, but it can be as low as 50° and as high as 77°. Regardless, as the sun goes down (around 5:45 pm), it will get chillier. While our reception will be indoors directly after our outdoor ceremony, we recommend that you all keep an eye on the weather to bring appropriate clothing and/or umbrellas.

Question

What is the address of the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Most people will end up traveling so that the venue will be on their right hand side. If that’s the case, please enter the 2nd entrance where the main parking will be. While the address is listed on the invitation, we wanted to list it here again to make sure everyone has it... Stone Gate Farm 714 Floraton Road Murfreesboro, TN 37127

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We are having buffet-style American food with a Mediterranean twist. We will also have a dessert bar! If any serious allergies or meal accommodations need to be made, please put that on the RSVP card before sending it back/answering that prompt when giving your RSVP online so that we can have something for everyone!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are having an alcohol-free reception, so there will be no open bar. We are also asking our guests to not bring any alcohol of their own for themselves or anyone else. Thank you for working with us on this.

Question

Where do I find the gift registry?

Answer

If you are feeling particularly generous, there are some specific things we would love to have as newlyweds. Our gift registry is on our website, and there are gifts of every price range, as well as a honeymoon fund where any amount contributed is greatly appreciated. The gifts on the registry are in order of what we need first (at the top), so please try to stick to that if possible!

Question

Where should we send/bring gifts to?

Answer

You may either send a gift directly to the groom's address or choose to physically bring it to the wedding. If you choose to bring it, there will be a designated place to put gifts and cards where you will be directed to. The address of the groom is listed in the registry checkout, so it should automatically be filled in when you go to purchase something. In case it doesn't show up, the address is... Jacob Vick 149 Hickory Hollow Terrace Apartment 198 Antioch, TN 37013

Question

Can we ask the photographer to take pictures of us?

Answer

Our photographer is not available to take pictures of everyone at our wedding for their own personal use. Our photographer has a specific list of shots he will be following. If you would like pictures of yourself, you will have to take them with your own device. If you do have photos taken of you that you would like, we will post them as soon as we can so everyone can screenshot the ones they would like.

Question

Who do I contact if I have additional questions?

Answer

We ask that you please do not contact the bride or groom directly with questions in order to avoid adding extra stress during this time. If you have an important question that is not listed above, please feel free to message either one of the Maids of Honor or the Best Man. Their contact info is listed below... Madison Reed (931) 219-7955 Kaylee Breeding (931) 787-4544 Storm Estes ‭(629) 207-9438‬
