And so the story begins... Junior and I met in person on the fifth of May of two-thousand and nineteen, and we never knew that after that day on our lives would change forever. In February of two-thousand and nineteen, I was scrolling through the internet when a picture caught my eye. For some reason I scrolled past a picture that had Junior in it, and besides him, his brother and cousin. I then noticed Junior to be very different and a servant of God, but I stayed in peace, and told myself, "if it is the will of God and if it is to be, he will find me somehow", I then forgot about this by the passing of days. Minding you that Junior and I had no idea of eachothers existence. Two weeks past, and I receive a message from "robertomartins.j", saying, "Peace of God! How are you??", I then remembered what I had said, under my breath, two weeks ago from that day. And that was the spark of a beautiful love story written by the Greatest author, our Lord Jesus Christ.

The day that we were most awaiting for. At the end of October 2020, we were planning a trip to Brazil with my brother-in-law, for a wedding. However, we were aware that there would be a small possibility of Junior staying back because of COVID-19. Being that people who were currently studying in the United States would have to quarantine in another country before reentering. We had faith that something could change upon our return at the end of November. But nothing changed. All laws and mandates remained the same. We arrived at the airport with our luggage, and my Fiancé and brother-in-law were not authorized to board the flight. It did not hit me until I was on the plane in the middle of two empty seats. Once I got home, I started to understand that everything happens for a reason. And the Lord started to comfort my heart. Well, 5 months passed of us being a country apart, and may I say. It was not easy. But God helped us. At the end of March, we spoke over the phone and realized we could not stay far from each other anymore. So, with the help of our families. We were able to get Junior to book a flight from Sao Paulo to Mexico to quarantine. And little did I know, he was planning a surprise engagement the whole time. April 10th, 2020, a day after he arrived from Mexico, he blindfolded me and said he had to take me somewhere. I was trying to figure out where he was taking me with my GPS brain, but they were purposely doing insignificant turns, so I lost track haha. When we arrived at the place, I was told to take off my blindfold, and everyone started singing Happy Birthday. I thought it was just a birthday celebration, but the crowd seemed like they were expecting something, so my heart started to pound. Junior then brings me around the cake table, and tells me that wasnt the only reason we were there for. He then kneels down on one knee, and asks me TO MARRY HIM!! One million emotions flooded over me, and I said YES!!
