We met on Bumble—both of us swiping right, and if you know anything about Bumble, the woman has to kick off the conversation to keep the match from expiring. We honestly can’t remember the one-liner that was used, but clearly, it worked! We kicked things off with a FaceTime date (because, COVID), and soon after, we took a chance and met up at Volunteer Park. Victoria, trying to be the thoughtful woman she is, brought a 6-pack of Miller High Life, the "Champagne of Beers," because she thought David liked it. Turns out, it was Miller Lite he preferred, but he didn’t hold that against her! What followed was a night of great conversation, plenty of laughs, and a spontaneous stop at Linda's Tavern on the Hill. A few weeks later, after spending almost every day together (aka quarantining together), we decided to make it official and “close our accounts” (on Bumble, that is!). Four years, two dogs, one apartment, and one house later, we’re celebrating all the memories we’ve made together and couldn’t be more excited to say “I do!"
