and we matched on Tinder. We met after work one night in Port Chester and right away had great conversation. So, we decided to go out again. For a second date, we had dinner at a place called Heidis House on the Side of the Road (Upper East Side, go there!) While we waited for a table in this teeny tiny restaurant, we connected over a shared appreciation for life's simple pleasures (food, hospitality, music.) That night we had our first kiss and a Stevie Wonder song was playing on the radio (okay, Spotify.) It was romantic and we fell in love. Our third date was a three hour long yoga class at the beach, in New Jersey. Early in our relationship we felt we had known each other forever, and would playfully joke that we were #meanttobe. Three years later we are less kidding around and more... getting married! In a pandemic. If someone told us back when we first met that we would be hitched during a pandemic in 2020, it's safe to say we would not have known what that truly meant; let alone the impact it would have on a day of such significance in our lives, as our wedding. We feel fortunate to have made so many wonderful memories with our friends and family up to this point, and are excited for the time when we can celebrate with all of you in person. For now, we ask you to please send up a prayer to the God of your own understanding and bless our marriage, on Friday October 9th, at 2 PM EST.
