A Forever Kind of Love

March 2nd of 2024 was a day that I will cherish forever. The day was nothing short of amazing. Thomas told me we were going a really nice date. He booked a room at the Mokara Resort and Spa downtown with a room overlooking the riverwalk. Thomas planned every detail. He booked us the most relaxing couples massage. It was one of best i have ever had with the combination aromatherapy and relaxation I was on cloud9🧖🏾‍♀️Then it got even better he arranged for me to have a manicure and pedicure. This is where things got interesting ☺️☺️☺️ He started rushing me saying we had dinner at 7 and it was 6:15. I started rushing to do my makeup and get ready. When I was finally looking like a million bucks lol he said that we should go look at the rooftop pool since the Uber was going to take awhile. The view was amazing🤩🤩🤩 You could see the lights of the riverwalk and the skyline of all of downtown. Thomas took me in his arms and gave me kiss. He looked me in my eyes and told me how much he loved and how much I meant to him. Then out of nowhere he dropped down on one knee and said Viara Sherman will you marry me? And I was so excited and happy I was like yesssssssssssss💍💍💍💍 Then out nowhere cameras started flashing 📸 He had arranged a surprise engagement photoshoot. I couldn’t believe it. The night just kept getting better though. After the photos he had told me we had to hurry because we were already late for dinner. We got in the Uber and he told the driver the manager said to pull around back. (I should have known something was up but I was still in shock) The manager met us outside and said he was going to take us into the back because they had a private event. He opened the door and the tears started up again 😭😭 I walked in to a surprise engagement party. The level of planning and thoughtfulness that he put into proposing was more than I could ever dream of. I love him so much and we can’t wait for everyone to join us as we become one 💓
