Our Story Vianna and Kai’s story began in the most unexpected—and very high school—way: in the stands of a girls' basketball game. It was 2018, junior year, and Kai had tagged along with his dad, who just happened to be Vianna’s basketball coach. One night before a game, the two struck up a conversation in the bleachers. Numbers were exchanged, and from that moment on, they haven’t gone a single day without talking. On December 19, 2018, they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend—and more importantly, best friends for life. Basketball has always been at the heart of their story. Vianna went on to play in college, and Kai now coaches high school basketball. As two passionate Aries (born just one day apart—March 30 and 31, 2002), they challenge each other, push each other to grow, and always keep it real. Whether it’s holding each other accountable or competing over who has the better jump shot, their fire keeps things exciting. Their very first date was as unforgettable as it was cramped. They hit up Ontario Mills Mall with friends, packed themselves into Vianna’s tiny yellow convertible Volkswagen Beetle, and spent the night joking and laughing like they’d known each other forever. They’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the years, they've created a life full of inside jokes, traditions, and love. They're self-proclaimed movie critics (complete with a rating system and post-movie breakdowns), massage connoisseurs, adventure seekers, and die-hard sports fans. Whether it’s going to NBA or NFL games, getting competitive on the court with friends and family, or traveling to new places together, Vianna and Kai always bring the fun—and the snacks. On July 27, 2025, during a family trip to Cabo San Lucas, Kai pulled off the ultimate surprise: a beachside proposal that took Vianna’s breath away. (She said yes, of course!) From bleacher chats to beachside proposals, their journey has been filled with laughter, growth, and unwavering love. They can't wait to continue this adventure as husband and wife—and they're so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
