Tristan and Vianey first met in the summer of 2021 while playing volleyball at Moon Park in Costa Mesa. They shared very few words during games and only exchanged small glances through the volleyball net. She thought he was a complete try hard (he was), while he thought she was just there to look cute (she was). Despite never having had an actual conversation, they decided to sit in two hours of LA traffic together and attend a concert. Miraculously, it was anything but awkward and their love blossomed on this unexpected drive! That Thursday (September 16th, 2021) they bonded over their shared love of bacon wrapped hotdogs, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and double shots of vodka. It was the beginning of a series of nights out together until their first official date on September 24th, 2021.
