The Wedding Website of Vi Nhat Nguyen and Phat Tan Nguyen
During your stay in Vietnam, we hope you will enjoy all the great experiences and food our country has to offer. With that said, we'd strong advise reading through the following recommendations and travel notes for a memorable and safe stay. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.

Flight

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN)

Please read up on Visa requirements in order to enter Vietnam (click View) Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) is best airport to fly to. Upon arrival we'd advise you to work with the airport staff to book a taxi to your place of accommodation.

Hotel

Cicilia Saigon Hotel & Spa

12D Đường Cách Mạng Tháng 8
Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam
 +84 28 3822 8989

This is where the groomsmen and bride maids will be staying. It is approximately 8 minutes away from the reception venue and walking distance into District 1 (where most of the fun takes place). You can also explore additional hotel options in District 1 & District 3.

Travel Note

Transportation

Although Saigon/Ho Chi Minh has many cab companies (e.g., Mai Linh, Vinasun), we'd also recommend you download the Grab app on your mobile device (this is the Uber of Asia) to easily book your rides.

Travel Note

Payments/Transactions

Most vendors in Vietnam are moving towards digital transactions and accept most major cards (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.). However, we'd recommend carrying some cash on you in case of emergency. You'd also get to experience a lot more street food vendors with cash! You can exchange international currency to VND at almost any jewelry stores! (We recommend jewelry stores over banks as they will give better exchange rates aka more bang for your buck)

Travel Note

Stay Safe

While we love Saigon and all that it has to offer, we are also aware that there are bad actors everywhere. We'd highly suggest you to always be attentive of your surroundings and proactively protect your belongings. Beyond that, we'd also recommend purchasing voltage converter to ensure your electronic devices will function correctly and safely as Vietnam operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz.
