Where is the wedding celebration?

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Crossings at Carlsbad, located at 5800 The Crossings Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008. The picturesque venue features an ocean-view lawn for the ceremony and a stunning indoor reception space with panoramic views and a welcoming craftsman-style ambiance.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who have been formally invited. If you have been given a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation and in the RSVP section of the website.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Men wear suits with tie or no tie, women wear semi-formal dresses or cocktail dresses.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour take place outdoors, while the reception is held indoors. In October, Carlsbad typically experiences mild to warm, pleasant weather, with daytime highs averaging in the low‑to‑mid 70s °F and overnight lows in the mid‑50s to low 60s °F.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP will become available on this website at a date closer to the wedding. Please let us know whether you’re attending by September 9th 2026, which is approximately 4 weeks before the wedding. This gives us plenty of time to confirm final details with our venue and vendors.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm, as the ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you may be asked to wait until cocktail hour to avoid disruption.

Where can I find parking when I arrive?

Answer

The venue offers ample parking. However, if you’ll be drinking, we recommend leaving your car at the hotel and walking over—it’s only about a five-minute walk. You may leave your vehicle in the venue parking lot overnight, but please pick it up by 10:00 am the next morning.

May guests take photos during the celebration?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony and kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during this special part of our day. Your presence means the most to us, and we’d love for everyone to be fully present in the moment. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like—we can’t wait to see the day through your eyes! Please tag us or send along any shots you capture. We kindly ask that you hold off on sharing any photos on social media until we've had the chance to post our first picture as Mr. and Mrs. Doctor.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please take a look at the 'Travel' tab on the menu at the top of the website for lodging recommendations. We currently do not have a room block at a specific hotel, but many family and friends will be staying at Hotel Solea near The Crossings at Carlsbad.
