“We’re getting married!”

When I got out of the military, I moved back in with my parents and he was living next door to them so he became my neighbor. Whenever we would see each other outside, we would just wave and keep it moving! My parents would have get togethers at their house regularly and invite him over. I noticed he would always talk to everyone else but me. So I asked him why he didn’t really talk to me. He said... you are that popular girl in high school that I knew I didn't have chance with. You don't say anything to her because you know she's out of your league so you just admire from a distance. (Smooth, ain't it! lol) That's when it all started....
