No, we are not registered anywhere! Your presence is gift enough, however if you're feeling particularly generous, please consider gifting a "Bao Lì Xì" (Red Envelope) or contributing to our Honeymoon Fund. We will have extra red envelopes at the welcoming table.

What is a Bao Lì Xì or Red Envelope?

Lì Xì is a traditional wedding red envelope. The gift inside shares good fortune with the couple. Etiquette & Guidelines Amount: In the U.S., gifts often cover the cost of your meal. Amounts also vary based on closeness to the couple, with those closest gifting the most. Lucky Numbers: Even numbers are best; 8 is especially lucky. Avoid 4: Amounts with 4 (like $40) are avoided, as it sounds like “death” in Vietnamese. When to Give: Please give envelopes to attendants at the reception entrance. Bills: Traditionally, new, clean bills. How to Give: Use both hands as a sign of respect.

Please consider arriving 20 minutes before the ceremony, 1:40 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. Please, no jeans or flip-flops. For those that would like to dress in our color palette, our color theme is Summer Citrus: all shades of red, orange, coral, and yellow. Guests are encouraged to wear an Áo Dài (traditional Vietnamese attire for men and women). If you’re interested, we recommend Áo Dài by Cute Sass, which offers modern and traditional styles in extended sizes. They ship from California, so delivery is typically quick. Can I bring a date?

We kindly ask that guests do not bring a plus one. Because we’re hosting a small, intimate celebration, we’re keeping the guest list to our closest friends and family.
