** According to the most recent Illinois state guidance, individuals with proof of full vaccination — defined as 14 days after receiving a final vaccine dose — or a negative COVID-19 test (PCR) 1-3 days prior to an event do not count against capacity limits. ** As many as we possibly can! Masks will be required due to state regulations so please bring your own. The ceremony will be outdoors which allows for greater social distancing. We are working to include additional precautions at the reception venue and will list them here when they are more fully lined out :)
Well the bride will be in a wedding dress and the groom will be in a white tux so we ask that you not wear those two items if you have them just lying around. We'd love to see you in anything ranging from wedding casual to cocktail attire!
Normally we would say the more the merrier but with COVID, we ask that you only bring a guest if your invitation designates it with the words, "and guest"
By taking photos during the ceremony :) Please don't do this as we have hired an AMAZING photographer and videographer to capture this day. Photos are welcome during the reception or any other time of day but please put them away during the ceremony
Hopefully in our favor! Memorial Day weekend in Chicago can vary so please plan to bring your cutest jacket or a handheld fan. Maybe both at the same time
Our current menu includes deep dish cheese and pepperoni pizza from Giordano's and an assortment of italian beef, cheeseburgers, and Chicago hotdogs from Portillos. If you have a special request, please let us know and we will work to accommodate you!
Your presence at our wedding is more than enough. Seriously. But because you asked, our website has a link to our registry
We can't, in good conscience, ask you to not bring part of your family to our celebration. So yes, bring those rascals if you'd like. But do keep in mind that we will have an open bar and an adult playlist. If you would like to leave your children with a babysitter, go for it! If you think they wanna get down and boogie with the crew, then bring em! You know your kids best.
The ceremony venue, St. James Farm, has a small public parking lot available within walking distance of the actual ceremony. However, it may be wise to carpool to save space and parking spots. The reception venue, Society57 has ample free parking at a nearby library.
Any time before 4pm! Ceremony will start at 4:30 so ya'll better be seated by the time I finally make it down that grassy aisle
