Downtown Market Grand Rapids
This is our reception venue, but also an amazing market! There is a little bit of time between the ceremony and reception for you to explore everything they have to offer downstairs! There are multiple food and drink vendors available, as well as lots of other neat things to take a look at.
Blue Bridge
If you want to get outside, we recommend checking out the blue bridge! The Blue Bridge stretches across the Grand River with access points next to GVSU's Eberhard Center and the Grand Rapids River walk near Plaza Towers. The bridge was originally constructed in 1892 as a railroad bridge, but now has been converted into a pedestrian walk. The Blue Bridge is iconic to the city and is the one of the longest truss bridges in Michigan.
Clique Lanes
If you come in a day early and are looking for something to do, we love the Clique! The Clique is a 16 Lane, Bi-Level Bowling Center Located on Grand Rapids’ West Side. Fun Fact: Jess worked here for a couple of years in college, and her Maid of Honor Sam's Dad is the owner!
Frederik Meijer Gardens
Another fun place to check out for our out-of-towners if you have some extra time! We are season pass holders, and absolutely love taking Harper here! There's rotating exhibits, tons of art, and a really cool indoor garden as well!
