Maid of Honor
Ashlee is the Bride’s favorite- and only- little sister. Even though they’re two years apart, Ashlee was always determined to act like the older sibling- which made for plenty of laughs and epic fights. From writing and filming plays to illustrating their own books, their childhood was filled with creativity. She and the Bride loved to create fun games to keep themselves entertained. Like the time they invented “extreme swinging” — a game where one of them would swing while the other dropped a brick off the playset above their heads and they’d have to dodge it (don’t worry, no one got hit... though it was a close call more than once!). Ashlee was known for scheduling family meetings and organizing their iconic family dance competitions- her passion, energy, and intensity on stage could never be matched. She was always trying to keep the Bride out of trouble and would frequently bargain with their parents to free the Bride from time out- even if it meant landing herself in trouble too. Ashlee is one of the most caring, loving, and selfless people the Bride knows. She’s an incredible protector, fiercely looking out for everyone she loves. Her laughter is contagious and her smile lights up every room she enters. The Bride is so lucky to have her not only as her sister but as a best friend and Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Anna is the Bride’s cousin who has always felt more like a sister. Growing up she was incredibly shy- it would take a while for her to even speak during family visits- but you’d never guess that now from how outgoing and fun she is! The Bride loved dressing her up in fancy outfits, high heels, jewelry, and topping it off by doing her makeup all throughout their childhood. Anna no longer needs the Bride to dress her up anymore, but she did let her do her makeup for her junior and senior year proms- full circle moments that were just as meaningful for the Bride as it was for her. They’ve shared so many fun memories during family vacations together that still get brought up. Like the iconic trip to Gatlinburg where Anna fell backwards off the side of a hot tub that led to losing their hot tub privileges. Currently, Anna is in her junior year at Auburn University with aspirations to attend PT school. Even though they're states apart now, she and the Bride stay close through FaceTime and visit whenever they can. Anna is extremely kind, loyal, loving, and is always there for you no matter what. The Bride is so lucky to have her not only as a cousin, but as a best friend. She’s been by her side through thick and thin, and now gets to join her by her side on her wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Abby is the youngest cousin in the family, and the Bride will always remember the day she was born and holding her in her arms. She was the perfect real-life baby doll. Growing up, she and the Bride spent countless hours playing dress-up and being each others dance partners for the family dance competitions. It’s safe to say Abby was always a little lost on stage during their performance. Let's hope those dance moves have improved for the wedding. As a child, Abby was often quiet, her face full of mystery in family photos. The Bride will never forget the infamous musical steps incident in San Francisco- one that almost ruined their trip to Muir Woods but has since become a family legend. Now, Abby is all grown up, and she’s known for her sense of style. The Bride constantly finds herself going to her for fashion advice. She’s the chill one in the family and is always up for some fun. Abby is currently finishing her freshman year at Auburn University studying Exercise Science. She is truly one of a kind, and the Bride is so excited to have her standing by her side on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Maria and the Bride first met in 8th grade on a club volleyball team, Cincy East. From the moment they hit the court together, they became unstoppable. They shared a “no mercy” attitude and had each other’s backs in more ways than one. Their competitive spirits matched perfectly, and their bond grew stronger with each passing game. Even though she and the Bride went to different high schools and lived 30 minutes apart, they became inseparable. They spent countless spring breaks together, and really mastered the art of looking like clueless tourists (sun poisoning anyone?). They’ve always been there to keep each other grounded. They are like twin flames, and Maria understands the Bride in ways that no one else does. People sometimes mistake them for sisters, and in many ways, they are. They’ve had some pretty wild adventures together that the Bride will never forget. Maria is a SLP and recently got married to one of the groomsmen, Vonya. The Bride is so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid and can't wait to keep making irreplaceable memories with her.
Bridesmaid
Grace and the Bride first met in 2nd grade at Wilson Elementary, and it didn’t take long for them to become inseparable. They co-authored an infamous book about their stuffed animals that ended up getting them banned from being friends for a year (don’t ask). But even that couldn’t break their bond. As kids, she and the Bride shared big dreams of becoming famous singers and actresses while also being co-authors of a hit book series. They had high expectations. They were always ready for the spotlight, and they still are to this day! Sleepovers between Grace and the Bride were never ordinary, like the night they decided to paint their lips with nail polish and then had to wake her parents up in tears from the fiery pain that ensued. Grace is the most outgoing, extroverted person the Bride knows. She brings energy, joy, and laughter wherever she goes. They’ve been through nearly every stage of life together, making the Bride consider her more like a sister than a friend. The Bride is incredibly lucky to have Grace by her side as a bridesmaid and lifelong friend who’s seen her through it all.
Bridesmaid
Sharadyn and the Bride go way back- they first met in their 1st grade class at Wilson Elementary. However, Sharadyn recalls a frustrating interaction that took place in the girls bathroom in which the Bride tried to convince her that she was a witch who could control the weather and lights. Admittedly, she wasn’t the Bride’s biggest fan after that. But, despite the Bride’s wild imagination, they eventually became close once they started playing volleyball together. On the court, they were a dynamic duo that took winning very seriously. Off the court, they were known for making their parents sweat with their high school antics. But no matter what, Sharadyn has always been there for the Bride. Whether it's a late-night talk or flying across the country to show up for her, Sharadyn has been the definition of a ride or die friend. She has an amazing ability to celebrate people and make every moment special. Sharadyn is currently in her final stretch of Dental school, about to become Dr. Ille! She is one of the most loyal and genuine friends, and the Bride is beyond lucky to have her as a sister and Bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Grace is Maria's little sister, but she’s always felt like a big sister to the Bride. They first met when Grace was in 6th grade, and it didn’t take long for them to become friends- especially since they spent so many weekends together traveling for volleyball tournaments, staying in hotels, and getting into some questionable shenanigans. They grew really close in high school, and Grace was the one who kept the Bride and Maria in-line when their antics got a little out of hand. She’s always been the voice of reason- the one who tells it like it is, no sugar-coating. Grace is a total go-getter. She’s a businesswoman with an incredible work ethic. The Bride trusts her to take charge of any situation- whether it’s managing a project or leading a team in a world-ending apocalyptic scenario (she’d find a way to save everyone, no doubt). She’s the life of the party, and whether she’s dancing, cracking jokes, or just letting loose, she brings an energy that elevates every event. Grace is also a proud dog mom and recently got married, where the Bride had the honor of being one of her bridesmaids. She’s truly one of a kind, and the Bride is so lucky to have her in her life and as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Coral and the Bride met one random night at a brewery and hit it off like they had known each other forever from the moment they started talking. They discovered they shared a love for all things spooky- scary movies, ghosts, halloween, murder mysteries, and a fellow love for Lana Del Rey. She and the bride even traveled 5 hours together to see Lana in concert! Beyond their love for Lana, they share a passion for vintage art, decor, and aesthetics. Coral is a great designer with an impeccable taste in fashion. She is very talented in the kitchen, and can whip up very intricate, beautiful, and delicious cakes! When she’s not creating incredible desserts, she’s probably dancing! Coral is a phenomenal dancer who loves to choreograph and teach classes and shows, bringing energy and creativity to everything she does. She’s also all about themed parties and loves making games that get everyone involved and competing. Coral is always down to have fun, whether it’s going shopping, hitting up fancy restaurants, going to amusement parks, or planning the next big trip. Coral makes life more fun, stylish, and filled with laughter, and the Bride is so excited to have her by her side on the special day!
Bridesmaid
Madelyn is not only the little sister of the Groom but also one of the most organized, driven, and creative people the Bride knows. She’s known for her love of organization- if something’s out of place, you can bet Madelyn will make sure it’s not only fixed, but that it looks clean and beautiful. Her passion for DIY projects and crafting means she’s always making the most thoughtful handmade gifts that everyone treasures. One of Madelyn’s greatest loves is children, and she dreams of someday owning a nonprofit to help others. But beyond that, she’s got a knack for structure- she’s got a calendar for everything and schedules every single thing down to the minute. Madelyn recently got married and the Bride had the honor of being by her side as one of her bridesmaids. She and the Bride share a love for shopping and both admittedly have expensive tastes. Madelyn has a vision board for everything, from career goals, to personal aspirations, to gift ideas for others. She’s the kind of person who knows exactly what she wants and goes after it with everything she’s got. She’s the perfect mix of creativity, organization, and ambition. The Bride is so lucky to have her as a future sister-in-law and bridesmaid on her special day!
Best Man
Daniel Vezdos, the Groom’s older brother, was always the most important person in his life growing up. They were inseparable—whether playing football, baseball, basketball, or video games, they shared countless memories. They can recite lines from the same movie and TV shows they watched in their youth and can share inside jokes that would make no sense to anyone else. Through thick and thin, they've supported each other, especially when it comes to their beloved Cleveland sports teams, the Browns in particular. From building mini golf courses in the backyard, to playing beach football, to winning a Spikeball tournament, to the Groom watching Daniel play on their GameCube, they've always been a team. Daniel’s heart, determination, and mindset set him apart, and his confidence in sports is unmatched—even though we all know who’s the better athlete. Above all, Daniel is loving, caring, and the best older brother the Groom could ask for. He’s always been someone the groom has looked up to, and he’s honored to have him by his side as best man.
Groomsman
Zack Bishop and the Groom met online while playing video games, only to discover that Zack and the Groom’s dad had worked together and were old friends. Their first in-person meeting came about when Zack, along with his girlfriend Coral (a bridesmaid), casually invited himself to join the Groom and the Bride at a brewery. Despite not being invited, the four hit it off immediately, and Zack and the Groom quickly became close friends. They bond over everything from lifting and sports to video games and vacations filled with Spikeball, games, and plenty of drinks. Zack is a grinder. He is constantly improving his skills no matter what it is, and his engaging, talkative nature makes him someone who’s easy to connect with. Above all, his chill, accommodating personality is what makes him such a great friend, and the Groom is thankful to have him by his side on this special day.
Groomsman
Joe Rotolo is the kind of guy who brings energy and fun wherever he goes. Always up for something, he’s never one to sit still and is usually found in some goofy, unserious situation. Joe fits in with any group, making sure everyone has a good time, and he became such a part of the Groom’s life that he was dubbed “Cousin Joe” at the family’s Christmas Day celebration. Joe doesn’t take life too seriously—he speaks his mind and tackles anything that comes his way, even if he doesn’t always think it through. Despite his fun-loving nature, the Groom has also had deep conversations with Joe, showing the depth behind his playful exterior. A big fan of Simas Lukosius from the Cincinnati Bearcats, one of the Groom’s favorite memories is when Simas actually rode in Joe’s car—definitely a moment that will never be forgotten! Joe’s spontaneity, humor, and ability to connect on a deeper level are just a few reasons the groom is proud to have him as a groomsman.
Groomsman
Jake Bishop is one of those guys who’s always up for a good time, and his energy is contagious. While Jake and the Groom became friends later in life, he was actually at the groom’s 3rd birthday party at McDonald’s — who would have known that a Happy Meal and some playground antics would set the stage for a lifetime of friendship? Whether it’s cracking jokes, getting everyone to laugh, or just bringing the party wherever he goes, Jake knows how to make any moment unforgettable. We’re lucky to have him as part of the wedding today and can’t wait for the fun to continue.

Adam Rakestraw is married to the Groom’s sister, Madelyn, his high school sweetheart. Two years younger than the Groom, Adam and he first connected playing baseball together in high school, where Adam’s calm and collected nature stood out both on and off the field. Known for his laid-back personality, Adam loves board games and trivia, especially about baseball players and music. He even organized a family game night that became an instant tradition. His love of music and games makes him the life of any gathering. The Groom is proud to call Adam both a brother-in-law and a friend and is honored to have him as a groomsman on this special day.
Groomsman
Grant is the Groom's youngest cousin in the Mitchell family, and his childhood was filled with memorable moments. As a kid, he was small, skinny, and an incredibly picky eater, often leaving meals untouched. Despite the age and size gap, he was always eager to play sports with the Groom and his brother, though he often left in tears from competition. That never stopped him from coming back for more. Fast forward to today, and Grant has grown into a collegiate baseball player who now towers over the Groom—how the times have changed! One memorable with Grant was when he came to Cincinnati to celebrate his birthday, but he left with a missing permanent tooth. The story of how he lost it—playing video games—is one that perfectly describes his childhood.
Groomsman
Vonya Shiffman is married to Maria, one of Olivia’s closest friends and a bridesmaid. Vonya is the human equivalent of a golden retriever—always friendly, upbeat, and full of energy. His laid-back and carefree attitude makes him one of the most relaxed people the Groom has ever met. Whether it’s climbing something random (even at the risk of injury) or jumping into a pickup game, Vonya approaches everything with a sense of fun and adventure. He’s a natural when it comes to sports and thrives on making sure everyone around him is happy and having a good time. With his quick wit and easygoing charm, Vonya brings humor and positivity wherever he goes. The Groom is thrilled to have him as a groomsman and knows he’ll help keep the vibe fun and lighthearted on this special day.

The Groom first met Liem at Santacon in downtown Cincinnati, where his larger-than-life personality immediately stood out. They quickly hit it off, and Liem made the Groom feel like the most important person in the room. Liem’s ability to connect with others, even with his busy schedule, is why the Groom is honored to have him as a groomsman.

Brady Pfeiffer is one of the calmest and most reliable people the Groom knows. The two first connected in college through a mutual friend while playing video games, forming a strong bond that started virtually and later became even stronger when they met in person. Over the years, they’ve shared countless memories together, from gaming and playing sports to attending parties. Though naturally introverted, Brady is generous to a fault—he’s known for giving freely, whether it’s something he owns that someone admires or just going out of his way to help. He’s also a tech wizard, serving as the Groom’s trusted go-to for tech advice for years. While he can be reserved with strangers, Brady is deeply loyal and caring to those close to him, making him an incredible friend and someone the Groom is proud to have standing by his side.
