Any good things to do in CT?

Answer

Besides our wedding? Kidding. The Graduate Hotel is on the campus of UConn, The Inn is 10 minutes from campus and Yale isn’t too far if tailgating and football are your thing. Apple and pumpkin picking spots are all over. Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino are about a 40 minute drive from the hotel. The Norwich spa is about 35-40 minute drive if you want to relax!

Why’d you guys pick Stonehurst?

Answer

Well.... we knew we wanted something different. Gab was set on having a fire-pit and s’mores. Andrew wanted whatever Gab wanted. We hunted all over upstate NY, drove hundreds of miles, exhausted every google, The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Yelp search. And accidentally stumbled upon Stonehurst. Initially we went to look at the barn and when we came for our tour we fell in love with the mansion! It was Gabs rustic meets Andrews modern. And that was that. The mansion was our place, October 2nd was picked and Andrew found himself neck deep in wedding planning thanks to Gab. Fast forward a few months, we take the parents, they love it too. Fast forward again, and we get a call from Stonehurst saying they have an opening for October 23, 2021 and we can have the entire property, barn and mansion, to ourselves!!! So we jumped on that and here we are! October 23rd, 2021 Stonehurst at Hampton Valley!

Obviously. We wouldn’t make y’all come to Connecticut to only celebrate a few hours! We get to celebrate all weekend! One more perk of an out of state wedding 😉
