Galveston has one of the most unique and storied histories in the southern United States. Originally slated to be the next Wall Street, many of Victorian New York's biggest names invested in the town until a catastrophic hurricane came through in 1900 and became the deadliest natural disaster in US History. Galveston has served as a respite for presidents and a base for the Coast Guard during WW2, but is most known for being one of the most haunted cities in the entire country. The tours of Bishop's Palace, Moody Mansion, our hotel, The Grand Galvez, and our wedding venue, The Bryan Museum are VERY interesting, and can even be enjoyed as part of ghost tours. We recommend!
