Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by August 1, using the link in the RSVP section or on the home page.

Question

Can I change my RSVP?

Answer

Yes, if you need to make changes to your RSVP please reach out to Veta (678-777-3547), Mark (404-641-7328), or Kris Salkil (301-928-4996).

Question

Which airport should I use?

Answer

Book your flight to Philadelphia (PHL), then rent a car or get a Rideshare to Middletown, DE. Depending on traffic, it should take about 45 minutes to an hour to get to your hotel, our house, or the wedding venue from the airport.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are two hotels near First State Brewery, the Fairfield Inn & Suites (Marriott) and the Holiday Inn Express. Each has special rates for our wedding. You can access them in the travel section of our website. To get the special rates you must book the Holiday Inn Express by August 1 and the Fairfield Inn by August 5.

Question

What if I miss the deadline for booking a hotel room in your wedding block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a hotel room in our block, reach out to one of the hotels and mention our wedding anyway. They may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our "Where to Stay" page.

Question

Where will the wedding and the reception be?

Answer

The wedding and reception will both be at First State Brewing Company in Middletown, Delaware. The address is 109 Patriot Dr. Middletown, DE 19709. We'll be indoors for the ceremony and the reception. Though, if the weather is nice, we'll be dancing on the patio.

Question

Can I walk or shuttle between the hotel and the wedding site?

Answer

The hotels are about a 5 minute drive to First State Brewery. We haven't arranged a shuttle service, but it is an easy drive or ride share trip.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, First State Brewing Company has a large parking lot that they share with a fitness club, so parking should be easy.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is late summer chic. We're dressing up! And we want you to be comfortable and beautiful in your own unique way. One caveat, Mark will not be wearing a tie.

Question

What time is the wedding and when should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding will start at 3 pm on Saturday, September 5. Please plan to arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 so you can find your seat before the ceremony starts. We'll have water and non-alcoholic beverages available before the wedding so you can stay hydrated.

Question

What menu options are there for people with dietary restrictions?

Answer

You'll have a chicken, fish or vegetarian option for your meal, and we'll have similar options in appetizers. You'll also be able to indicate dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be adult beverages?

Answer

Yes, we're getting married in a brewery! We'll have an open bar with beer, wine and limited cocktails, plus non-alcoholic beverages.
