A saying goes, “our roots say we’re sisters, our hearts say we’re friends”. To me this is true to heart. Morgan, you have been not just a sister to me, but you have been my best friend. You have been the person that I tell my soul too, and the person who has helped me through so many moments in my life. Breakups, laughs, jokes, studying, etc. You are my other half, and that will never change! As you go through this next stage in life, I will be with you every step of the way. Corey, thank you for being the brother I never got to experience.. you are the missing puzzle piece to our family and we couldn’t love you more. Morgan and I began as just neighbors who’s husband/boyfriend met in the hallway and followed each other on instagram. I remember when Eli told me how cute their new puppy was when they got Remy and that she was a labor and delivery nurse too and couldn’t wait to meet her and Corey. After sending a message on instagram that wasn’t originally meant for her, it’s safe to say we each found our soul sister. There are so many things I could say to sum up how much not only Morgan means to me but also Corey. I know I haven’t known them the longest but from the moment we did meet I couldn’t wait until they became engaged and got to experience the joy of marriage. I’m so honored to be a part of their big day and stand next to my best friend as she marries her soul mate. Here’s to the best wedding of 2023 with two of the best people I know!! I remember when she first told me about Corey years ago, and I’ve been able to witness their love grow stronger over time. Morgan was the kind of kid that parents wanted their kid to hang out with. She was the nice, sweet hilarious girl. The absolute perfect best friend. We had countless summer night sleepovers and when we were lucky, school night ones as well. At 12 years old, we talked about our future. We had big plans. Going to the same college and eventually living near each other. There was no question we would be in each other’s wedding and our kids would be best friends too. Well, life happens and a lot of these childhood dreams didn’t come true… except one. I was over the moon when Morgan asked me to stand by her on her big day. So much time has passed, but Morgan is still the nice, sweet hilarious friend I once knew. And when I met Corey I instantly knew there was no better person for my childhood best friend. I can’t wait to stand by both of them on their big day. I love you!

To say I wouldn’t have survived nursing school without Morgan would be an understatement. Morgan always encouraged me, cried with me, and celebrated with me all the wins and loses that encompassed our time at college. She never stopped doing those things for and with me when we became nurses and have hard days at work, hard days also being an understatement. Morgan has been many things in the time that I’ve known her— nursing student, avid tj maxx shopper, labor and delivery nurse, #1 cherry limeade fan, book lover, dog mom, and the most supportive friend. She’s also gone from girlfriend to fiancé to Corey in the time that I’ve known her. Of the many roles that Morgan has had since I’ve known her, and as excited as tj maxx or reading a new book makes her, I know that there is nothing she looks forward to more than getting married to Corey in July 2023. I can’t wait to be by her side on her wedding day and celebrate her and Corey.

Corey and I met each other in high school late senior year, but we didn’t really get close until the summer before we both went to college and went our separate ways. Our friendship was more like brotherhood because of how he has become a part of my family. We take care of each other in our moments in need and council each other on our big life decisions. We got a lot closer through our mutual love of video games, being competitive, and always wanting to be the best, which translates to how Corey is going through life now. Whether it comes to wanting to be the best man he can be for Morgan, being a great friend, being the best at his job, or always wanting to learn more to continuously get better in every aspect of life, Corey always works to be the best version of himself. I am very excited to see how bright the future is for both Corey and Morgan, as I have seen them both grow together over the years.

I don’t even know where to begin! I met Corey in high school, I can’t recall the first time we spoke, but I do know that we became very close. Corey was hands down the best friend I had, practically my brother. I used to stay at Corey’s house almost daily, anytime someone asked where I was, I was with Corey. Corey has been there for me in some of the lowest points in my life, including the time I walked all the way to his house with a bag full of clothes, and no phone, on Christmas Eve. I fell off the wagon for a few years, as our friend group started to dissipate, and everyone was graduating high school and doing their own thing. But not too long ago Corey and I reconnected and picked back up right where we left off. That’s the kind of person Corey is, a true friend, and a truly genuine person. I remember when Morgan came into Corey’s life, he was so happy. He had finally found his person! I had never seen Corey love anyone the way he loved Morgan. You could just tell that Corey was genuinely happy. Morgan is hands down the sweetest and most charismatic person I have ever met. She has the best smile of anyone I know, and Corey is so lucky to have her by his side! I love Corey and Morgan to death, and I hope that they will always be a part of my life. I’m so proud of the man that Corey has become, and I am so excited for the love that Corey and Morgan share, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds in store for the both of them.
