From James: We met through a mutual friend (B-Money aka Skeletor aka BRB aka Concierge) while rocking out at a concert in Hollywood. Right away, we hit it off and became friends. Especially once we realized we both like to shake it to the groovy music. We were just friends for a few years and always had the best times together. Finally, the day came when we knew we had to let our hearts have what our hearts want and get dinner together. We've been tied to each other's love ever since...and we're both so thankful that we did! The rest is history.

From Lauren: We decided to have a nice and relaxing getaway in La Jolla over Cinco De Mayo weekend. Since La Jolla is one of James' most cherished cities, he was very eager to take me all around to see his favorite sites and hidden places. After a morning of walking around town and walking the beach, he took me to his favorite hidden cove to go find the "round rocks" it was known for. After a few minutes of looking around the beach for these rocks, James called out that he "found a really good one!" He was down on one knee with his back facing me, looking at something. As I came up behind him to see what he found, he turned around and had my rock in his hand. He then proposed to me with the most sweet, heartfelt and loving words and asked me to be his wife. I was so shocked and excited that all I could do was nod my head over and over again, cry, and try to get out the word "YESSS!" The rest of the weekend was equally full of surprises and he had so much planned that I couldn't believe he was able to keep everything a secret for weeks prior. I think I can easily speak for both of us and say it was the most amazing day of our lives. We can't wait to celebrate our Wedding with all of you!
