Wedding Party

Meet our parents and wedding party.

Richard and Linda Craig

Parent's of the Bride

Richard and Linda Craig met and were married in 1978. There is a tradition that every five years, my mom gets into her wedding dress. The story goes that instead of going on their planned honeymoon, they went to PA to be with my maternal grandma. While there, grandma told my dad, "Have Linda get into her wedding dress every 5 years; if she can't get in it, you have permission to kick her out." My grandma had a great sense of humor, but to this day, my mom gets into her dress every five years on their anniversary. What started as a joke has evolved into a beautiful and romantic tradition that my parents enjoy.

Robert and Torrie Thompson

Parent's of the Bride

Mama and Dad have been married for over 20 years. Since their marriage, they have bought a ranch that they call Little Slice Ranch. Here, they pour their love of horses and other animals into a way of life. I was very fortunate to have such loving people come into my life and "adopt" me as a bonus daughter. They have shown me so much love and support over the years, and I am forever thankful to have them in my life.

Rudy and Robin Verzuh

Parent's of the Groom

Rudy and Robin met on a blind date and have been married for 38 years. They have lived in Montana since 2000. They have 3 children and one grandbaby.

Holli Loeffelholz

Maid of Honor

Hello, my name is Holli, and I have been bestowed the noble title of Stacie's Maid of Honor. Stacie and I met not as ourselves, but as fantasy creatures facing off in a battle royale in a game room at Missoula Comicon 2017. Now, I can't tell you (or remember) the results of said battle, but it sparked a deep, almost decade-long friendship between fellow nerds. We've since played countless characters, campaigns, and supported each other through just as many life events. It is my honor and privilege to support my best friend in her next adventure, as she prepares to walk down the aisle with her forever player two, James.

Dan Verzuh

Best Man

Dan is James' cousin and will serve as Best Man. He lives in Dublin, Ireland, with his lovely girlfriend, and shares with James an enjoyment of skiing, Notre Dame football, and spending time with the family on weekly video calls.

Anna-Marie David

Bridesmaid

Hello! My name is Anna-Marie, and I am one of the bridesmaids. I met Stacie at UM during our Master's program, and we have been friends ever since. We have struggled through statistics, papers, and a thesis together. Now I have the honor of supporting her as she embarks on this beautiful journey of marriage. I can't wait to celebrate love, laughter, and the unforgettable moments that this day will bring. Cheers to the happy couple!

Emily Owens

Bridesmaid

Stacie and I met as undergraduates at the University of Montana, where we bonded over surviving a few tough classes and quickly realized we were going to be lifelong friends. She was one of the very first people to welcome me when I moved to Missoula, and I’ve been grateful for her ever since. Now I’m still at UM as a PhD student in cultural anthropology. I happily hold my place as the quieter one in the group — but I always love when Stacie comes back to town and we get to catch up. I’m so excited to celebrate her and this next chapter of her life. 💚

Brightmoon Harris

Bridesmaid

I'm Brightmoon, and I met Stacie at work, where we became friends. Years later, we met up again at the same job and reconnected. She is one of my closest friends, and I'm delighted to celebrate this special day with her.

Ryan Verzuh

Groomsman

Brother of the groom and often the arbiter to his chief. Married his beautiful wife in 2024 and became a father to his beautiful daughter in 2025.

Eamonn Mazur

Groomsman

As one of James' coworkers with the Forest Service, Eamonn shares a love for the outdoors and exploring the Pacific Northwest. He's a backpacker, runner, and, when James gets him out there, a novice cyclist in The Dalles, Oregon.

Josh Estes

Groomsman

I met Josh on the playground at Sacajawea Elementary School in 2000, and we became fast friends. Since then, he has been a loyal and reliable friend who has accompanied me across the country and helped me through these last 26 years.

Ruth Verzuh

Flower Girl

Born on June 4th last year, Ruth is already taking her role as a Verzuh seriously. She enjoys reading books, walks, jumping, and looking at the busy street.

Addison Blansett

Flower Girl

Addison is one of the bride's nieces. She likes art, hanging out with friends, and loves animals.

Rabbi Mark Kula

Officiant

Rabbi Mark has been in my life (Stacie) for many years. He was the first Rabbi I connected with while learning about Judaism. He has been a support for years as I struggled through school and other life trials. He and his family will always hold a special place in my heart. He always has an open ear for people to talk to him and provide counsel. I am beyond thankful to have him officiate my marriage to James and the start of the next chapter of my life.
