Abbey of the Genesee
We welcome visitors to join the community for liturgical prayer in the Abbey Church or to spend time in quiet solitary prayer. Daily Mass is presently celebrated at 7 am, and is open to the public. The Abbey Gatehouse Store is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 am – 4 pm. Monks’ Bread and Specialty items are baked at the Abbey of the Genesee, a Roman Catholic community of contemplative monks belonging to the worldwide Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance (O.C.S.O.), more commonly known as Trappists.
