Storm King Art Center

This is one of our favorite places of all time! Ben and I had an incredible date here, walking around and exploring the 500 acres of sculptures together. We love it and we think you will too!

Dia Beacon

This beautiful modern art museum is just 30 minutes north on the Hudson River in Beacon. Beacon is one of the best places to spend the day wandering around, shopping, or hiking up the mountain for incredible views.

Beacon Overlook Hike

If you’re looking to explore a bit while you're in town, we highly recommend the Beacon Overlook hike, just 40 minutes from our venue. Ben and I have done it together a few times (he’s basically a regular!) and it’s one of our favorite spots. The trail leads to absolutely stunning views of the Hudson Valley, especially in the fall. It’s a great way to soak in the natural beauty of the area—just don’t forget your sneakers!

Bear Mountain State Park (Our Wedding Venue)

Yes, this is our wedding venue—but it’s also an incredible place to explore! Bear Mountain State Park offers beautiful hiking trails with lake views, basketball courts, and even the Trailside Museums and Zoo. Whether you're up for an outdoor adventure or a peaceful stroll, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
