We definitely DO!

We met on a dating website; OkCupid. It says it finds your perfect match. Why else would we have spent all that time answering questions? True love!

We met at Incline Public House on a Sunday evening (likely after whatever Bengals game there was that day) for dinner and drinks. Veronica recalls the date lasted three hours. Colin remembers he invited Veronica to his home he shared with roommates to watch the Ravens game on Monday night quickly after the first date ended.

We moved in together after about 6 months of dating. Veronica says "I couldn’t stand being away from him for too long." Colin also knew this was meant to be. The words "I love you" didn't come until a very trying situation where Veronica had a flat tire on a weekend holiday and called Colin for help. "Our attempt to fix it was a disaster, involving multiple no-show tow trucks and several trips for various parts". Colin remembers Veronica was fed up and drove down the street to the nearest gas station on a semi-deflated spare tire to get air and get home after a long day. He felt she needed something more for the effort they both put in and he told her loved her after working together to get themselves home and out of the cold, rainy darkness.

Colin says he would’ve followed Veronica to the ends of the Earth, but at the time she didn’t believe him. However, he has proven her wrong before (Veronica won't be admitting that often at all). They moved from Cincinnati to Columbus in the summer of 2018. After trying again and again, Veronica finally matched into her dream residency program in Dublin and was very excited to get started! So, off to Columbus they went, compromising to live in Grove City to keep both commutes reasonable. After three years, a turbulent pandemic, burnout, lots of crying and happy moments, and MANY, MANY memories made, they made it to the other side together! It has been amazing to watch Veronica finally fulfill her dream of being a doctor! And may they never forget the many friends and family that contributed to those moments of togetherness! That's why Veronica and Colin want you to come celebrate if you are able! If not, your spirit will be with us at karaoke and on the dance floor!

Yes, yes, yes. YES! A thousand times Veronica would say yes, especially since Colin followed instructions of the "perfect proposal" to a T. Period. The end. Closed book…… or not so fast!
