What is the dress code?
Answer
The wedding dress code is formal attire. Think suits, not tuxes, and midi to full length dresses. Don't be afraid to wear colors! For outfit considerations, the ceremony will be outdoors on a turf lawn (we'll have heel protectors available). The cocktail hour will be outdoors on a paved patio. The reception will take place both indoors and on the outdoor paved patio.

How do I get from the hotel to the venue?
Answer
Walking: the hotel is a 3-4 minute walk from the back entrance of the venue. Then you walk another 3-4 minutes on paved pathways through the garden to get to the ceremony area. We'll have signs from the venue entrance to the ceremony area. Transportation: we will also have a shuttle going between the hotel and the venue's front entrance (shuttle starts at 4:45pm and ends after 11pm) The maps at the top of the page show both options. Will children be attending the wedding?
Answer
No. As much as we love your little ones, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adults-only occasion. We hope you are still able to come celebrate and will enjoy having the evening off!

May I bring a date?
Answer
Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If you're not sure if you have a +1, please contact us. We appreciate your understanding!

Does the venue have parking?
Answer
There will be reserved parking for our wedding guests in front of the entrance to the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion. The rest of the parking lot will also be available.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
We certainly understand the difficulty of having allergies at an event. If you have a food allergy, please contact us!
Question
Have you reserved a block of rooms at a hotel?
Answer
Yes, we have a block reserved at the Hotel ZaZa Museum District. Our website's Travel & Hotel section has more hotel information and a link to reserve in the block. The online booking only has the option for one king bed. If you'd like two queen beds, the hotel is happy to accommodate but you must call them to book (713-526-1991). If the block is filled, please let us know!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We'd love if you could RSVP as soon as you are able, but please respond by March 13, 2024. You can RSVP right here on our wedding website. Thank you in advance!
