Frequently Asked Questions

Question

The wedding is on Halloween, so... is this a costume party?

Answer

As much as we (obviously) love Halloween, this is not a costume party.

Question

Okay - no costumes! So, what is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal, meaning we'd like guests to wear tuxedos/suits, gowns, or elegant cocktail dresses/pantsuits. Feel free to express yourself-- fun and unique colors, textures, and patterns are encouraged! Please refrain from wearing white, cream, or ivory.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

No - we want our wedding to be your night off.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we ask that guests do not bring a plus-one unless their invitation says "Plus Guest." Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

In an effort to unplug and be in the moment together, we ask that you please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. A professional photographer will be present, so we promise the ceremony will be captured! That said, after the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like. We can't wait to see the reception and other festivities from your perspective!

Question

Is there parking available near the venue?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved the parking lot right outside Reid Castle. If that fills up, someone will direct you to another free parking spot a short walk away.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

RSVP deadline will be updated in the coming months.
