Alki beach offers wonderful views of downtown Seattle's skyline. They have beach volleyball courts, pickleball courts, and fire pits; as well as a variety of shops and restaurants.
Seattle's famous fish market is a must visit! They have food, coffee, flowers, and of course the fresh catch of the day! Take the water taxi across the bay for easy transportation to the market.

One of Washington's biggest attractions and just a short distance from Downtown. Right under the space needle are a few museums to check out, including the Chihuly glass and MoPOP.

If you have a full day, Bainbridge island is a short 30 minute ferry ride from downtown and makes for a fun day trip. They have plenty of wine rooms and breweries on the island!
If you are extending your trip, Mount Rainier is a 2 hour drive from West Seattle. There are some beautiful hikes, feel free to ask for recommendations!
