Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will have both indoor and outdoor options.

I would like to attend a church service prior to the wedding. Are there other guests I can connect with?

Answer

Absolutely! We have family and friends on both sides that are potentially planning to attend services the morning of the wedding. Please contact the bride and groom to connect you to the right group. We have listed both a local non-denominational Christian Church and Catholic Church in the area. Their websites are linked with further information.

Do you have reserved rooms at any local hotels?

Answer

Unfortunately we were unable to reserve blocks of hotel rooms. If you need any recommendations for areas to stay, please visit the travel tab or contact the bride and groom for further recommendations.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate additional guests at the wedding!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a taco bar during the reception. There will be a meat and vegetarian options available.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and reception. Non-alcoholic options are also openly available. Coffee and espresso will be available by the sweet treats bar for those who need a pick me up either during or after the wedding!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. Champagne will be served for those who wish to arrive early and enjoy the lakeside view. Champagne service will stop 15 minutes before ceremony to avoid glasses left along the ceremony area.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Cocktail hour will take place on the front lawn between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites and lawn games.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

We have compiled a list in the "Things to Do" on the website. For additional questions, feel free to contact us! If you are staying in Austin, we would be more than happy to provide additional recommendations.

We are coming from out of town and would like to connect with other guests. How do we follow up with other people?

Answer

Contact us! Due to the wedding being on Sunday, we understand that many of you may be coming in on a Friday evening. We would be more than happy to connect you with others traveling.

What if I have a severe food allergy?

Answer

Please contact the bride or groom! We are currently aware of severe nuts and almond allergies.

Where are good places to eat prior to the wedding on Sunday?

We have listed a handful of our favorite places in the "Things to Do" tab. All are within about 20 minutes of the venue and are favorites of ours. The majority offer brunch.
