Like a lot of modern love stories, ours started online, but what followed felt anything but ordinary. Our first date was supposed to be simple. Instead, it turned into five hours of conversation, laughter, and the kind of connection you don’t question, you just feel it. Veronica knew right away. Micah… well, he was still trying to confirm she was a real person. (Yes, there was some light internet sleuthing involved.) From the very beginning, something just clicked. Over time, that connection grew into a life we’ve built together, one full of adventure, laughter, and a lot of learning along the way. Not every day is perfect, but we’ve found that the best parts of our relationship come from growing through those imperfect moments together. Micah challenges Veronica to be the best version of herself every day, and together, we’ve created a life we love, complete with three adorable dogs (Panda, Phoebe and Piper), a home, and more memories than we can count. By the time July rolled around last year, it was clear: it was time. Micah had actually been holding onto the ring for months, waiting for the “perfect” moment. That moment came on a simple Friday evening, after playing with the dogs, coming inside, and getting ready to make popcorn and pour a glass of wine. What started as what Veronica thought was a very confusing, slightly glitch-in-the-matrix conversation turned into Micah finally asking the question he’d been building up to. And of course, she said yes. In true “us” fashion, we didn’t stop there. We planned an entire wedding in just one month. Because when you know, you know. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most, in one of our favorite places, doing what we do best: having fun, making memories, and enjoying every moment together.
