Okotoks Erratic, also known as Big Rock, is a prominent geological landmark in Southern Alberta. This trail is very easy, short, and super accessible with a wheelchair ramp down to a path made of dirt and small rocks. Educational signage provides great information on the history of this place. It doesn't take long so it's a must-stop when driving by! There are bathrooms in the parking lot.
A quick drive from Okotoks. Many spectacular views to see. Lots of places to stop and relax as well as many hiking trails. There are a few campgrounds as well. You need to buy a park pass if you are planning to stop in the area. Worth the drive!
