For weeks before, I was Veronica's wingman, but screwed up one night and apparently lost my privileges as she asked us to go meet the guy she was seeing that I had no part in setting up for her. Thankfully it was for the better, as I will have a brother in law that feels more like just a brother.

I have been a close family friend of the bride’s mother, Marina, since childhood. Our friendship goes back to 1979, when we were just eight and ten years old. Having watched Veronica grow up, I consider it a joy and privilege to now officiate her wedding to Ian. As an ordained minister and lifelong friend of the family, I try to bring warmth, humor, and heart to every ceremony I’ve led and to make celebrations especially meaningful for all who know me and the couple. My goal is to marry the whole Borzynski family.

It’s going to be the best day ever — and yes, I plan to steal the spotlight just a little.
