In true 2018 fashion, our love story began on Twitter . . . yes, Twitter. Brendan slid into the DMs and the rest, as they say, is history. We had our first date on August 17th, 2018 - just one day before Veronica left for her sophomore year at Michigan State. Even with school pulling her away the very next day, we knew there was something between us that couldn't wait. Looking back, we had an "invisible string" moment long before we even met. Brendan's grandmother played piano for the Fraser choir's, most specifically the Fraser Singers. The very same choir that Veronica sang in back in high school. Who knew that years later, we would find each other, fall in love and build a life together? From that very first date, we were insperable - making long distance work while Veronica was in nursing school and Brendan back at home, always finding ways to be with each other. In July of 2020, during the whirlwind of the pandemic, we bought our first home and added our sweet pup Nova to the family. Since then, we have been through new jobs, big milestones, endless support, Arizona sunsets and Disney trips that brought out the kids in us both. Then came one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives: our 6-year anniversary photo shoot at the DIA. Veronica thought we were only capturing memories . . . until Brendan got down on one knee and proposed. It was beautiful, emotional and romantic, and unexpected in the best way imaginable. Our love is patient, kind and we value not only each other, but care for others around us. We have been partners for 7 years now - through life, love, chaos, laughter, and everything in between - we could not be more excited for the rest of our lives and this next chapter.
