We met at work over a decade ago. Being co-workers for almost five years we learned about each others quirks, what makes us tick and what makes us laugh. We were friends and coworkers but nothing more and being younger and eager to experience life, we went our seperate ways. We both experienced life through traveling, moving to different parts of the world and being in other relationships. But fate brought us together and in 2017 when we reunited we both thought, "Hey, I think there is something there."

It was a Saturday afternoon in the middle of Fall, he insisted he wanted to take our pup Diego out for a walk that afternoon, I was tired and wanted to stay back but he insisted to so I gave in. Once we arrived to the park we started our walk which we had done at least once a week for the past year. In order to start the walk we always cross the "kissing bridge". Once we got to the bridge, he got down on one knee and proposed. I was in pure shock! I of course shouted, "YES," and now we are engaged.
