Formal required, black tie optional. Ladies should wear floor length dresses or pant jumpsuits. Men should wear dark suits with ties or bowties but may wear tuxedos if they would like. Please refrain from wearing white or cream both solid and with a print. The wedding party will be wearing dark brown dresses and 3 piece suits. David's Country Inn is a historic venue, so we are treating the evening as a chance to lean into the glamour and we encourage our guests to have fun with it!
All wedding events are adult-only (18+). We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!
We have booked an amazing photography and videography team for our wedding so we ask that you leave the photos to them. Please refrain from using your cell phone during the ceremony.
Yes, David's Country Inn has ample on site parking and additional parking across the street. We have also booked a shuttle service to and from the venue. Please reference the "Transportation & Accommodations" page.
Yes. There are a lot of hotels in the vicinity of our venue. While we wanted to provide varied options for our guests, we were strongly cautioned against some of them. Because of this we chose to reserve a block at the Courtyard by Marriott - Mt Arlington. Please reference the "Transportation & Accommodations" page.
Our ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM, so we ask that you arrive by 4:45 PM. If you are arriving by shuttle, pick up time from the hotel is 4:15 PM
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors. However, there is a front porch and back patio which are open to our guests during reception.
We have elected to do a buffet style dinner. There will be gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options. There will be a full, open bar following the ceremony.
In honor of her late grandfather, Veronica will be hyphenating her last name to Trueba-Melillo. In light of this please refer to the couple as "The Newlyweds" and address any checks to Ryan only.
