We're getting married!

While both spent their time diligently preparing for their next steps at Marquette during their undergraduate studies, Michael and Veronica didn’t cross paths until the beginning of their Dental School careers. Meeting at an orientation event through mutual friends, they knew they were both outgoing and their personalities quickly clicked. Staying studious, they often found themselves in the second or third row (not TOO close to the front!) of class with friends, forming a tight knit study group whose members would push each other towards success for the next four years ahead of them. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and limits on social gathering, the group had become smaller and smaller, and grew closer and closer until what remained were our two lovebirds, alone in a study room, giving each other’s notes imaginary gold stars and serenading with broken piano playing. As the initial shock of the pandemic settled, the crowds began to expand once more, but Michael and Veronica still grew ever closer. During their first picnic outside the Milwaukee Art Museum on 5/15/2020, Michael asked his date to be his girlfriend. During their most recent picnic on 9/23/23 at the same location, Michael asked his girlfriend to be his wife. On 7/27/24, they will grow closer once again, becoming one forevermore. We are beyond excited to have our forever friends and family help celebrate the official start to our forever together. (We’ll see you at our next big picnic! ☺️) Can’t wait! ~M&V
