Why are you getting married on a Friday evening?

Answer

We chose September 25th (which happened to fall on a Friday this year) because it is both our fathers’ birthdays. (As another coincidence, their mothers (our paternal grandmothers) were both named Lena.)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, the church has a dedicated parking lot.

What food are you serving at the reception?

Answer

We will be serving a dinner buffet from Bombay Coast Indian Restaurant in Clairemont Square. We will be offering a choice of four appetizers during cocktail hour. The entree buffet will include four curries (two meat and two veggie) and mac and cheese accompanied by salad, rice, and naan bread. Dessert will be mango ice cream and cake.

Will you be offering dairy-free, gluten-free, or vegan options?

Answer

Yes, there are options on the buffet for those that follow any of those diets. We are working with the cater to make sure that potential allergens are labeled.

Is there any particular color(s) I should wear to the wedding?

Answer

We are not asking guests to wear specific colors. In case you were wondering, the wedding party will be wearing burgundy and lavender, with the men in blue suits.

Will the wedding ceremony be streamed for those unable to attend in person?

Answer

Yes, we will be having the mass live streamed on the Parish YouTube Channel. We are also investigating captioning for the YouTube feed.
