Yes! We will be hosting a welcome party at Pole Creek on Friday, the 19th starting at 6pm. All guests are welcome. Follow the signs to Elkatraz on the property. If you are driving, when you arrive at Pole Creek follow the signs to "Elkatraz". The speed limit on the property is 10MPH, please drive the speed limit to keep dust levels down.
Yes! We kindly request attire leaning towards formal - it's always better to be a bit overdressed than underdressed! For the Welcome Party, think Dressy Casual. Sundresses, and short or long-sleeve button downs and nice pants. The Welcome Party will be on gravel, so we recommend comfortable shoes (wedges, flats, cowboy boots, loafers, nice sneakers). For the wedding, think Garden Formal. The ceremony and reception space is outdoors, and primarily on a grass lawn. That said, we recommend wedges, platform heels, or flats for ladies who want to wear heels. For this time of year in Central Oregon, may we suggest the following attire: - Midi- to floor-length dresses or dressy separates. - A full suit or dress pants, a button-up shirt, and dress shoes. Ties are optional. Keep in mind that the weather in Central Oregon can change drastically over a few hours. We recommend bringing a layer for the evening on both nights. We want you to be comfortable at our wedding events!

If you are planning on attending both the welcome party and wedding, we recommend staying in Sisters. Please look at the hotels recommended on the Travel tab of this website. If you are planning to extend your stay for a summer vacation, consider looking to stay in Bend for all or part of your stay. We also have recommendations for places to stay in Bend in the Travel portion of the website. It is about a 25 minute drive from Bend to Sisters. We will be providing a shuttle to and from the wedding (space is limited, so it will be first come first serve). Consider scheduling a taxi or Uber ahead of time as transportation can be limited in Sisters.
We will be providing a shuttle with limited space to and from the venue since space is limited it will be first come first serve. A shuttle will pick up guests in Bend at 2:30pm at the Downtown Public Library (601 NW Wall Street, Bend, OR, 97703). It will depart at ~2:40pm and do multiple pick ups at the Best Western in Sisters (500 Highway 20 W, Sisters, OR, 97759) between 3:20 pm and 3:50 pm. The shuttle will do a few drop offs at the end of the night to the Best Western and one final drop off in Bend (likely leaving the venue around 10:15-10:30 pm). Please plan to arrive at Pole Creek for the ceremony by 4:00pm (ceremony starts at 4:30pm). You can also Uber or Taxi to / from the venue. Consider scheduling a Taxi in advance with Bend Ride Co www.bendrideco.com. They offer a 10% discount code: WEDDING10 If you have a responsible designated driver, consider driving and parking your own car at the venue. The speed limit on the ranch property is 10MPH.
