We met at a local Crossfit gym. Andrew soon after asked Vernesa on a date, which she ignored. At this time Andrew though his chance with her was over. To his surprise she asked him to go to Colorado with her out of the blue. Talk about about an amazing first date. Colorado was just the start to something so special. The rest is history, and now we are getting MARRIED.

Well, this is a story so bare with us. Vernesa thought this would happen when we first bought our home, so of course there were a lot of tears when it did not happen. Decorations are a must in a new home, and Vernesa suggested to get family pictures with the dogs done. In Andrew fashion, he put up a fit because they would look like "engagement" photos, and he really is not a fan of pictures. The photoshoot was booked with our amazing photographer, Susan Manning, and since Vernesa planned the photoshoot the idea of a proposal was not on her mind at all. Our photoshoot took place at Yellow Bank Park. We decided that letting the pups off leash was a great idea, and of course our English Golden, Riggins took off bolting. Zara was an amazing model, while Riggins was really not interested in sitting still. Too many gosh darn smells out there to heckin sit still. Vernesa wanted to take a photo of Andrew and her walking away while the dogs were in the background. This was the opportunity Andrew took as a perfect proposal. As we walked away he had the ring behind his back, showing the photographer. So once the shot was taken - Vernesa asked Susan what other poses they should do. Andrew then said, "Well how about this, Vernesa will you marry me?" 10/17/2020 you are a date that will never be forgotten.
