Doors from ~6:30pm. Show starts at 7pm! What to wear: Black & white—but not funereal. Play with patterns, shimmer, or sparkle (never met a sequin we didn't like)! Just have fun & dress to feel your best!
We're picking up the bar tab at Martuni's (where you can usually find Michael & Verne every Monday or Friday night, enjoying banter and songs with friends, tourists, and touring broadway singers who all come to cut loose). Warning—the cocktails are strong! There will be more libations (and food) at the after party following...
Celebration Party

Shake your sequins at the after party, just 0.6 miles north up Market Street from Martuni's piano bar. (About a 12 minute walk or even shorter uber/lyft ride.)
Delicious tacos will be served up by the local, Mexican-owned restaurant Nopalito, who combines "traditional, from-scratch Mexican cooking with the vibrant, local ingredients of the SF Bay Area" (including veggie and GF options). You're invited to toast via the open bar and your choice of beer, wine, spirits, or crafted cocktails mixed by The Academy's lovely resident bartender. Disco music will be spinning all night long by one of our favorite local queer DJs. Taco! 🌮 Disco! 🪩 Drink-o! 🥂 Let's go!!! 👯
