How do I get there?

- Palm Springs Airport (PSP) – ~1 hour - John Wayne Airport (SNA) – ~2 hr 15 min - Long Beach Airport (LGB) – ~2 hr 30 min - LAX – ~2.5 to 3 hrs You’ll need a car—rideshare options in the desert are limited. We encourage carpooling!

You’ve got options: - Hotels/Airbnbs in Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree (book early!) - Camping in Joshua Tree National Park / Nearby Campgrounds (Books up early) - Camping on the property with us where the wedding will take place (Bathrooms provided, no Showers)

What are the Camping Details?

Answer

Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley are world renowned camping areas, and there are many beautiful places to camp. This is a popular area and many places book up long in advance so if you want to rough it, we recommend looking soon. The property where we are hosting the event also has a large desert lot that is open for people to use for RV or tent camping. This is a little less scenic than inside the park, but is nonetheless pretty and will allow people a lot of convenience if they choose this route. We will have a bathroom trailer onsite for the whole weekend, but there are no showers available for guests. Cam & Betty will be staying at this property for the entire weekend.

Are most people camping?

Answer

There is no expectation or pressure for guests to camp! We have a number of local friends that might want to make a weekend of camping, but if you're traveling in from out of town and want to have amenities then please Airbnb or hotel it and just join us outdoors for the event!

Is camping gear provided?

Answer

No—please bring your own tent, sleeping setup, and food/drink if you’re camping. There’s no water or electricity set up for campers, so come prepared.

What’s the vibe of this wedding?

Answer

Expect a laid-back desert celebration with fire performances, music, and cocktails under the stars. The ceremony will be informal and symbolic. Think bonfires, art camp, and a “bring your magic” kind of energy.

What should I wear?

Answer

We’re calling it laid-back cocktail attire. Nice but not stuffy. Bring layers—desert evenings get chilly. Flat shoes or boots are best if you’ll be on uneven ground. Bonus points for desert cyberpunk feel like Dune or Tatooine

No gifts, please! Your presence means everything to us. We’d much rather you put your money toward travel, a cool outfit, or a bottle of your favorite drink to share.
