Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18 for our ceremony or reception. Unfortunately, if kids are brought to the venue, you will be asked to leave.

Where should I park?
Answer
Parking is available at the wedding venue. You are allowed to leave your car overnight if needed.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation.

Is there a gifts registry?
Answer
Yes, we have a registry and you can review it by navigating to the Registry tab on this website.
Question
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony because we will have photographers documenting the special moment. You can take photos after the ceremony!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, if weather permits. Our reception will be held indoors. Parts of the reception space will have covered outdoor areas and fire pits for guests to enjoy.

What should I wear?
Answer
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is cocktail/semi-formal attire. We are planning for the ceremony to be outdoors weather permitting. Be prepared for Michigan weather in October. Shoe choice is entirely up to you as long as it is within the dress code.

Will there be a guest book?
Answer
The bride and groom will be having an audio guest book set up! We encourage everyone to use the phone to leave messages and well wishes. You know us, the sillier the better! But we will love to hear anything from our guests.

Is the bride changing her name?
Answer
She will be! However, if you know the bride, you know the name change could happen two business days after the wedding—or eight business months. Please make any checks out to her maiden name.

Will there be transportation?
Answer
There will be transportation that will take you to the wedding venue and back for those staying in the room block at the Gun Lake Casino Resort. Shuttle Schedule: Pickup – Gun Lake Casino Resort → Bay Pointe Woods (Venue): 1st group: Departs at 3:30 PM 2nd group: Departs at 5:00 PM Return – Bay Pointe Woods → Gun Lake Casino Resort: 1st group: Departs at 10:00 PM 2nd group: Departs at 12:00 AM (midnight) Please be ready in pick up area 15 minutes before departure to ensure everything stays on schedule.
