FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

"I've spent longer than I'm willing to admit researching the difference between cocktail and semi-formal attire. As someone that stresses what to wear as a guest, know that officially it's 'cocktail attire' but if you have something you love that's on the formal side, go for it!" -SLAMA "Team, I'll be in mess dress. For the military types: either SDBs or Mess Dress/formal military attire, or whatever your significant other has coerced you into wearing. Suits and ties for the non-military types. Standing by for questions." -Trebek

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We love the beach! So does everyone else. The CEREMONY STARTS AT 5PM and traffic is predicted to be... standard for San Diego (translation: it may be fine, it may also be terrible). Please plan accordingly whether you're driving or using a rideshare/taxi!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The area around the venue is street parking only, with two hour parking until 6pm. We recommend ride share to the venue based on limited spaces available.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. Please just be sure to include them in your RSVP, with their age, so we can track them accordingly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see our travel page for guidance on where to stay. The bride and groom would like to emphasize that it's up to you to decide what you'd like your weekend to look like!

Question

Will we be outdoors the whole time?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, but the reception will be held indoors.
