Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Preferred. Tuxes are not required but encouraged, Dark Colored Suits with a tie are acceptable. Long dresses for women are encouraged. There are no specific color requirements, but please avoid wearing white, cream, ivory, etc.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation. No additional guests can be accommodated.

Absolutely it is.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our estate offers limited overnight accommodations and is first come first serve. If you are unable to stay on property, we recommend: Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia/Ft. Washington 530 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034

Are kids welcome?

This is an adult only wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary valet parking.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:30PM. Guests staying overnight at the estate are welcome to arrive and check-in starting at 12:00PM. Guests not staying overnight on property can arrive starting at 5:00PM. Please plan to be seated by 5:20PM.

I have a food allergy, can i make a special request?

Answer

Please inform Alexa of any allergies through text, she will coordinate with Elkins Estate.

Will you be providing transportation from other hotels?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation if you are staying off property.
