Welcome to Mr & Mrs Caleb Gross

We became great friends throughout the first few months on the job. One night in February(2017), Caleb called me & asked if I wanted to go see a movie with him. I agreed to go. From that night we clicked, we laughed & made jokes. We put restrictions on our friendship- we’d only talk Mondays & Wednesdays. One day I asked Caleb to join me on a Saturday evening to go to a church I’d never been to. He agreed to come to The Word Church & we enjoyed reconnecting with God. The Pastor talked about how God’s timing is like a revolving door: the door stops if you walk too slowly, but if you walk too fast, you walk into the glass door. On the way home I asked Caleb if that sermon spoke to him like it did me. I may have been crazy- but God was talking to my spirit because here we are 2018 - ENGAGED! 9.28.18 The morning of the proposal, Caleb text me about a game he played with his aunt. He said: “I have to give you 5 things I love about you & we are going to play the YES game.” I received emails at work about how he loves my spirit & how I continue to build his faith & spirit; how I push him to be a better man each day; how I am a great mother & can’t wait to have our own kids one day. When I got home from work, I had a dozen roses and a new candle with our picture on it (candle flavor ‘blessed and highly favored’). Caleb, his best friend (my son Cameron) went to the mall to get me a gift. When they came home, Cam had a sign that said: Check yes or no (to answer the sign questions) “Do you like my best friend?” I checked “yes” and thought for sure I knew what was coming!! Next sign said: “promise not to beat up my best friend?” I sighed and said “yes”, here I got another present- a stuffed animal pillow (Cam’s pick)! Cam went out in the back yard, met Caleb by the bonfire with the last sign. Cam picked up the sign & it said: “will you spend the rest of your life with him?” There Caleb got down on one knee & asked me to be his wife!!
