FAQs

The Wedding Website of Vera Cross and Hanju Choi
Question

Do I need a visa to enter Korea?

Answer

As of now, the Korean Embassy is saying all visitors will need a K-ETA. This is a simple process that can be completed online, but we do not recommend leaving it to the last minute due to the possibility of unexpected delays. Please complete this 2-3 weeks before your departure date.

Question

My flight will arrive in Seoul. How can I get to Daejeon?

Answer

Incheon Airport, Gimpo Airport and Seoul are both connected to Daejeon by airport bus, train, and coach bus. Should you require help arranging your transportation, please do not hesitate to reach out - we are more than happy to assist you! We want to make this as easy and stress free as possible for all of our guests.

Question

Where should I stay in Daejeon?

Answer

We recommend staying at Lotte City Hotel, as it is very close to the wedding hall.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 11am. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes earlier. There will be a section reserved for guests who have traveled from abroad.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Lunch will be buffet-style, and we are not able to modify the options. If you tell us about your allergy in advance, we will find a way to make it clear what you can and can't eat. The buffet will have both Korean and Western food options, so we are sure there will be something for everyone!

Question

Where do you recommend visiting in Korea?

Answer

Seoul, Gyeongju, Gangneung, Sokcho, Jeonju, and Busan are all fantastic cities to visit. We will create an itinerary to share in the next couple of weeks.

Question

I can't attend. Will there be another opportunity to celebrate?

Answer

We understand it’s a long way to travel, so please don’t worry if you’re unable to join us in person - we feel your love and support from near or far! We are planning another celebration in Ottawa in September of 2027 and look forward to sharing more details soon.
