Our story began in 2022 during a deployment to Jordan. Nothing says "romance" like dust storms, 100 degree weather, and long work hours. In a place far from home, we found an unexpected connection that grew into something deeper. After the deployment, we were stationed apart, one in Washington, the other in Idaho, but distance couldn't dull what we started. Even through a short tour in Korea, our bond only grew stronger. In 2024, after two years of long-distance calls, airport goodbyes, and countdowns, we finally found ourselves in the same place, together. Every mile apart only made us more certain what we had was rare and real. From a chance meeting on foreign soil to a love that feels like home, our journey has been anything but ordinary.
