The iconic SPI! Everyone needs to visit this place at least once in their lives! But, maybe mid-February ain't the time? Bookmark it, maybe. Or maybe go have some good seafood?
It's a beautiful historical landmark, especially if you like the outdoors. Just a quick 15-20 minutes north of Edinburg, you can park, then walk about a mile into the area where you will see a "pond" full of salt. Literally. It's beautiful for nature-site photos. :)
I've personally not been. But photos from friends are beautiful! The landscapes and natural habitat are a sight to see!
Beautiful sunset! I highly recommend going to enjoy live music on Sunday afternoons (1:30 pm to 5:30 pm) with all the Winter Texans. They have alcoholic beverages and great food! Lot's of TV's if you need to stay in touch with the games.
Famous for their mid-day dances and corn on a cob, you're bound to find a great second-hand deal!
Great little hole in the wall bar/cantina to listen to live Conjunto music and dance. It's BYOB!
Why not take a visit to Mexico?! The tacos/lonches/street corn and food are all amazing! You can find beautiful, handmade trinkets and experience the true Mexican culture.
Chef's kiss cuisine! Can't go wrong with stopping by for a meal here! Breakfasts are amazing!
There's a few of these restaurants throughout the valley, but they all have great drinks that are custom to the Mexican culture, and great food specials too!
Great local restaurant for Mexican cuisine!
